CompSource (compsource.com) runs an online catalog of over a million products on a platform built two decades ago. Facing 30-second page loads at peak, recurring server failures, and a shrinking Google footprint, they asked us for a better answer than a rewrite. Today peak pages load in under a second, bandwidth lost to scrapers is down roughly 80%, and the same platform has a new lease on life.
A multi-site healthcare organization was hit overnight by a professional extortion crew. The backups survived, core systems came back from clean recovery points, identity was rebuilt from scratch, and email moved to Microsoft 365 with multi-factor authentication. No ransom was paid. Their name is withheld; the outcome is not.
